On the right as you depart from the Church, you will see the stained glass window depicting two final acts of mercy — visiting the prisoner and leading the blind. The other two parts of this collection are in the Baptistry. This window was given by Isabel Brown, an optician, in memory of her parents.
Above the inner door, we have three angels. They came from the church in Pontnewynydd in Wales, along with the Good Samaritan windows in the north aisle. Above the outer door, Adam Goodyear has used up spare glass from Feltham, Middlesex and added a little angel in memory of Rhona McGee, a young woman who committed suicide in September 1990.
This concludes our tour of the Church. We hope that, having seen this, you would like to come and see the church, and hear the organ playing in its full glory. If you do worship with us, we hope that you will have a deeper sense of the history of all the beautiful things contained in the Church, and offer your praises with a richer and more joyful understanding.
